Review Process

International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Advance Technology (IJMEAT) implements a blind peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scientific works. This objective and critical process is a standard in reputable scientific publishing and is essential for maintaining the academic integrity and quality of the journal.

After a manuscript is submitted through the journal’s online system, the Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial screening to determine its relevance, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial check are then assigned to at least two peer reviewers who are experts in the corresponding research field.

Review invitations are sent to selected reviewers by email, including the manuscript title, abstract, and a link to the journal system. Reviewers are required to log in, accept the assignment, download the manuscript, complete the review form, and submit their evaluation and recommendation through the platform.

The final decision on the manuscript—whether to accept, request revisions, or reject—is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ comments and overall assessment.

Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on the following points:

  1. Is the manuscript original and free from plagiarism?

  2. Does the paper contain significant novelty or contribution to the field?

  3. Is the manuscript written in clear and correct English?

  4. Does the title accurately reflect the content of the paper?

  5. Are the research objectives and problems clearly defined and relevant to the scope of mechanical and automotive engineering?

  6. Are tables and figures clear and relevant to the study?

  7. Does the content demonstrate innovation or technological advancement?

  8. Do the conclusions appropriately address the research objectives?

  9. Are the references recent and relevant to the topic?

  10. What is the overall recommendation?

    • Accept as is

    • Accept with minor revision

    • Accept with major revision

    • Reject

  11. Additional comments or suggestions for the authors (if any)
