Publication Ethics
IJMEAT: International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Technology is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and research integrity. The journal follows ethical principles in scholarly publishing to ensure that all published articles are original, scientifically valid, and free from unethical publication practices.
Duties of Authors
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original works and have not been published or submitted simultaneously to another journal. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data, analysis, interpretation, and references presented in the manuscript.
All authors listed in the manuscript must have made significant contributions to the research and writing process. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, or inappropriate authorship is considered unethical and unacceptable.
Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for evaluating submitted manuscripts based on their academic quality, relevance to the journal scope, originality, clarity, and contribution to the field of mechanical engineering and advanced technology.
Editors must ensure that all manuscripts are processed fairly and objectively. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by the authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, ethnicity, or political background.
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts. Reviewers should maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for personal advantage.
Reviewers should inform the editor if they identify plagiarism, similarity with other published works, ethical issues, or conflicts of interest related to the manuscript.
Plagiarism and Research Misconduct
IJMEAT does not tolerate plagiarism or any form of research misconduct. Manuscripts suspected of plagiarism, data manipulation, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices may be rejected or retracted according to the editorial decision.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflict of interest that may influence the publication process. If a conflict of interest exists, the editorial team will take appropriate steps to ensure an objective and transparent review process.
Article Retraction and Correction
IJMEAT may publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, or editorial notes when necessary. Articles may be retracted if there is clear evidence of unreliable findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research, or significant errors that affect the validity of the published work.
